This bag was made by the Mayans, recycled out of the beautiful hand-woven and embroidered traditional clothing known as huipils. Each village has a unique style of embroidery. The bag comes with a tag explaining it's origin and the town that it's from. It's one-of-a-kind. When it's gone, it's gone. This messenger bag is from Chichicastenango. Heavily embroidered both front and back, it zippers closed and has a zippered change pocket inside. Size 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Note; The color is a little off here - the background of the bag is black like the other tapestry bags.
