Little Huipil Purses - Tapestry
These little purses were made by the Mayans, recycled out of the beautiful hand-woven and embroidered traditional clothing known as huipils. Each village has a unique style of embroidery. The bags come with a tag explaining their origin and the town that they are from. Each little purse is one-of-a-kind. When it's gone, it's gone. These bags are from the town of Chichicastenango. If you have a preference let us know whether you'd like the leaf or the flower design.
